A series of artworks have been established at the Mount Isa Hospital as part of the recent hospital extension and refurbishment.
Some very talented local and other artists were selected to prepare the artworks. Below is a little preview of the works and a few notes for how they came about.
North Queensland certainly has some great hidden treasures to explore. Cobbold Gorge is definitely worth putting on your travel list if you love the great outdoors. I recently took my parents (and Leo, my adorable dog) on a 3 day adventure along the Savannah Way. The natural beauty of the area is amazing.
It was a real treat to meet Ronell and Jono and smiley little Taylor when I took the opportunity to do their photo shoot at their home near Georgetown on a recent holiday. I love being able to capture families in their own environment and these guys certainly have a big backyard to play in, which became my playground for an afternoon with them.
